Join Buck Bald Brewing Murphy for an incredible fundraising event in Downtown Murphy NC. The city will close down Tennessee Street in Downtown Murphy for the first ever Murphy Music and Brews, Saturday, April 22, 2023, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
In addition to food and beverages, there will be live music from Drivin N Cryin, War Hippies, and Hu$h Money.
All proceeds from this event benefit the work of Shepherd's Men which supports injured veterans seeking comprehensive help at SHARE Military Initiative, Shepherd Center in Atlanta.

Shepherd’s Men Join with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to Honor Veterans
Thursday, May 27 – 0900 (9:00 a.m.) Mt. Juliet, TN.
Begin 15 Mile Ruck March from Charlie Daniels’ grave in Mt. Juliet to his hometown of Lebanon, TN.
Cemetery Address: 2229 N Mount Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. The march should take approx. 6 hours.
Venue will be open and a public fundraiser will ensue at Sammy B’s Restaurant. Country Music artist Darryl Worley will perform. Event sponsored by Lipman Brothers and hosted by The Journey Home Project. Address: 705 Cadet Ct, Lebanon, TN 37087.
Shepherd’s Men Depart for Cemetery for 15-Mile Ruck March in Honor of Charlie Daniels & Shepherd’s Men After Completion of the 15-Mile Ruck March from Charlie Daniels’ final resting place to his hometown of Lebanon, TN
Sunday, Monday, May 30-31– Athens, GA
Shepherd’s Men will begin a 22-hour movement in Athens, GA at 1:00 p.m. It will consist of running laps, stair climbs, swimming, run rotations to the University of Georgia Chapel to ring the bell, run rotations to The Varsity, to the Wakefield C. Brunt VFW, and more. The movement will conclude on May 30, with the completion of the 22-hour movement, placing of a wreath on the grave of US Marine Corps veteran Michael Reese at Evergreen Memorial Park, and a fundraiser at American Legion Post 163. At 6:00 a.m. on Monday, May 31--Memorial Day, Shepherd’s Men will depart Athens for Atlanta. They will cover all miles on foot, arriving at The Varsity in Atlanta at approximately 12:30 p.m. The event will conclude with a homecoming celebration at SHARE Military Initiative at 2:00 p.m.

Shepherd’s Men After 22-hour Stair Climb
Friday, May 28 – 1100 (11:00 a.m.) Chattanooga, TN
Begin, swim, run, ruck movement. The evening of 28 May. There will be a fundraiser at the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center that will coincide with our movement. As runners finish rotations, they will engage with supporters/patrons. The event will be held from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

National Medal of Honor Heritage Center
Monday, May 31 – Memorial Day (Athens/Atlanta, GA)
Two runners leave The Varsity in Athens. The team will run a leapfrog movement in twos to The Varsity in Atlanta. We will cover every mile on foot between Athens and The Varsity. Arrive at The Varsity at 1230. Depart The Varsity at 1300 for 5k into Shepherd. Arrive at SHARE Military Initiative at 1330 (1:30 p.m.)
The program will include honoring and remembering veterans, meet-greet and speakers. Event will end at approximately 1500 (3:00 p.m.)
